Dusk from Joze Rizal Bridge

Seattle Fauntleroy ferry

The Seattle Great Wheel is a 175 feet tall ferris wheel located at Pier 57 on Elliot Bay in Seattle that opened on June 29, 2012. The wheel has 42 climate controlled gondolas each able to carry up to 8 passengers, except for the “VIP” gondola which only seats 4, giving it a maximum capacity of over 300.

I took this photo around St. Patricks day last year, it is hard to see on the wheel lights, but the reflections shows more closely that the design was meant to be a three leaf clover or Shamrock.

Seattle Washington

Outdoor and nature photographer Tony Johnson used a Fotodiox Nikon to Sony E-mount lens adapter to mount a Nikon 75-150mm lens on his Sony camera to capture this stunning image of the Seattle skyline at sunrise! Some Seattle alleys are virtually streets.

I see paid parking, but the fire escapes give it away.

I'm glad that these old buildings still stand.

Seattle is good for puddle photography.

Classic kerry park view, with Mt. Rainier looming on the horizon.

We tried to get to Kerry park for sunset, but got caught in a traffic jam.

I have to visit Seattle two times in order to get this shot. The first time was in June, and all I get was cloudy sky. This one was taken during November, at which time it usually rained everyday!

I took this shortly after leaving Professor Cliff Mass' lecture at the UofW on Weather in the Pacific Northwest. This isn't the kind of calm I'd expect during a normal December.

A few from a very foggy dusk in Seattle

Taken from the top of the Space Needle at Sunset briefly lighting up the sky with purple hues.

You never know what you'll capture when you step up to this vantage point with your camera. Here's one of the many beautiful faces of our city.

Seattle Weekly got ahold of some local artists to decorate some of their boxes for an event that's coming up. This is the little beginning of the box that I'm working on, more pics soon. good times!

It is actually a rare thing to have thunder and lightning in Seattle.
