Looking through the window late at night of Tim Hortons/On the Run shop on The Danforth, on site of old Allenby Theatre.
This stage of the project shows the polished sandstone paving being laid throughout the site. There are several areas of paving laid in a tudor pattern using three different sizes of slab. It even passes scrtiny by a local duck! The garden was designed by www.postalgardendesign.co.uk and was built by www.wyldlandscapes.co.uk

The entrance forecourt of the Deutsche Bank building in the Sydney Central Business District has a cafe seating area placed around rows of mini fountains. This not only provides an attractive centre piece, but the sound of the bubbling water adds to its cooling effect, which is most welcome during a fiery summer's day.

Means Salt and Pepper in English. This all day dining restaurant is located in the Central Wing. Offering air conditioning or open-air terrace area. The restaurant caters for daily “Active Breakfast” and sumptuous buffets to satisfy our guests’ taste bud.
Opening hours: Daily from 6 AM to 11 PM.
The Riverfront Park project is part of a larger Downtown Framework Plan for Sauk Rapids. The deconstruction of the Mississippi River Bridge between Sauk Rapids and St. Cloud and the closing of First Street North, leading to the bridge through the park site, opens an opportunity to create a large waterfront public area within the downtown.
Two parks, South Side Park and Lion’s Park, were previously divided by First Street South. The current design unites the two sites by transforming the former bridge approach into a pedestrian promenade ending at a plaza atop the existing abutment wall overlooking the river.
The new park will be a peaceful, meditative space for users with areas for passive recreation and a connection to the water. The Riverfront Park design includes a labyrinth, new playground, additional trails, shoreline restoration, and enhancement work to protect the water quality. Granite from the bridge demolition will be reused in the park to preserve a sense of the geological and recent history.
The first phase of Riverfront Park was constructed in 2008. Future phases include the addition of a multi-use building and associated parking, and a plaza overlooking the playground and river to the north.

Sharjah Biennial 8 is the biggest art event in the region. It will include 81 artists from 40 countries, including major contemporary artists such as Alfredo Jaar, Mona Hatoum, and El Anatsui and many more.
The theme for this year is “art ecology and the politics of change” opening from the 4th of April to the 4th of June. If anyone is in the region at this time it is a show definitely not to be missed.
Art enthusiasts as well as students of the region have been asked to volunteer to help out in the production of the work; this is a fantastic opportunity for them to work hand in hand with the artists to increase their knowledge about the definition of art and what happens behind the scenes when putting up a major exhibition such as this.
