This is a shot from a mirrored room art display on the grounds of Area 15, which we explored prior to going into our scheduled time at Meow Wolf.
This image reminds me of the challenges of seeking truth in this day of social medial feed algorithms, confirmational bias and amplification, skepticism of authoritarian sources and so many other pitfalls and obstacles for truth seekers, which have led to the rise of conspiracy theories and so much dis-information in this Information age.

Calke Abbey, between Staunton Harold and Foremark Reservoirs, Derbyshire. The 'abbey' (actually a manor) lies on the site of a priory dissolved by Henry VIII, and lies adjascent to the corners of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

The migratory waterfowl have FINALLY started to arrive. Recent weather patterns (climate change) have disrupted their comings and goings. I do appreciate seasonal wildlife diversity.
Six years ago, we welcomed Cracanel (Bow Legs) into our family when he was already old. You can read his story in the first comment. Last winter and spring were tough times for me and my furry family, so I didn't want to complain more. Unfortunately, Cracanel fell ill a few weeks before my beloved Chubby passed away unexpectedly. After some medical tests, the vets diagnosed Cracanel with heart problems and diabetes. He has been receiving medication and insulin shots (when tests indicate high values) twice a day since then.
Despite following all medical advice, in the last four months, he has also become almost blind, most likely due to age and disease. As every space in the house is situated on a 3-4 stairs level from the next one when he is alone, I have to ensure his safety. So, I bought him a 2.5-meter diameter indoor dog pen.
In the background, Neghinita is searching for a way out to catch some noisy birds.
