Gas and Auto Porcelain Signs at the American Sign Museum. Sohio, Phillips 66, Goodyear wings. Also a Sealtest ice cream sign.
The reason I decided this was a 1962 package is because they usually promoted an offer like this for about a year, give or take.
Dad worked for a time at Sealtest Dairy. One day he went out to the loading dock with his camera. Taken with an Argus camera by Stanley Gregory.
Colorful home on the North Side of Pittsburgh in the Mexican War Streets Neighborhood. Great place to get some shots
Ruthie gets a birthday hug from Miss Mitchell, her St. Agnes School 4th grade teacher, in the school's cafeteria. Tiz, our mom, took this photo. Ruthie's wearing a monogramed blouse - you can sort of make out her initials RTR over her left breast.
Ruthie would have been 59 years old today. Happy Birthday, Ruthie!

The first picture taken in my new photography studio. I must've went through 20 shots, trying to get the right position and feel. It's still not perfect, but I'll be doing running changes as time goes by. I can now do products as easily as the outside bottles.
Bottle pictured was given to me by Don Wing 45 from his visit last sunday. It's a Sealtest returnable bottle. Possibly from the early 60's. I do remember seeing these in the store, but we rarely used Sealtest products. I should have angled this better, so you could see the print more clearly. It's on both sides of the bottle.
I will be adding today's batch to the 'Basement Cleaning' set, as these are the first pictures taken in my new set up. After this batch, the set will be closed.
