Yay, It's Finntasia's Fishnet Friday, only not quite so jolly this time.

This particular fishing net and rope were washed up on shore yesterday, completely drenched and suffocated by thick, black oil.

Who knows where it came from - as we've recently discovered with a container ship sinking a few miles off the coast, the lost cargo and other effects do not reach shore where or when they're always expected.

The children had already frequently nagged to go once to Sea life. And now, at last, they could finally go there. My neigbour Sel also joint us. They found sharks pretty scary. And especially the jellyfishes and sea horses were breathtaking.

De kinderen hadden al vaak gezeurd om een keer naar Sea Life te gaan. Maar nu mochten ze er dan eindelijk naartoe. Mijn overbuurvrouw Sel ging ook mee. De haaien vonden ze reuze spannend. Vooral de kwallen en zeepaardjes waren adembenemend.

14 oktober, stevig windje en een heftige branding, mooie combinatie om windsurfers en paragliders naar het strand te krijgen.
