Tucked in the corner of one of the busiest roads of the city , this store is over 100 years old. The titles of these vernacular scripts for local theaters or puppet shows are quite interesting to say the least. For me translating the titles to English and still maintaining its original flavor is quite an ask !

The local script is vastly different than the more recognisable Chinese script.

He cannot climb the stairs without "re-enacting" the charge of the Rough Riders up San Juan Hill, and is digging locks for the "Panama Canal" in the cellar of his aunt's house, where he lives.
The play itself ran on Broadway from January 1941 to June 1944, with 1,444 performances.
