This was a tweak of a tweak of the CS hamid Syn ran final version of the CS Hamid script by Michale Borne. Such a fun script to work with.

Arabic inscriptions in the Kufic script. It is a very early Arabic script. Unlike modern Arabic, Kufic does not use dots above and below the letter to assist the reader. These inscriptions, likely dated to the end of the 7th century or the early 8th century, contain Quranic texts.

The Arabic script is famous for its incredibly artistic realisations. This is a small modern example which I love. Although Latin T and Arabic ت are of the same origin, this is not visible anymore (after 3000 years or so). But the artist who wrote the company name "TRAFFICO" in Arabic (ترافكو) managed to give the T = ت in a subtle way a form that resembles the Latin.
Bilingual palm-leaf manuscript in Pali and Lao. Though the two languages look as though they’re using different scripts, I was told it’s all Tham Lao script. In a great example of 'typographic’ thinking, it has been written in two sizes to cue the reader that there are two languages. Manuscript likely c. 19th century.
