We used these two D series on site work at Netheroyd Hill tip, we were screening ash that was tipped many years ago we uncovered old earthenware jars and old bottles etc. The council intended mixing ash with salt when salt was in short supply, the ash froze and because it doesn't dissolve like salt, it leaves a mess on the road and blocks the drains. not a great success. A blocked culvert flooded and caused the tip to landslip into gardens in the valley bottom causing a big fuss.
©2010 Phillip Nesmith - It has been five months since my last posting. Here is the first posting of 2010 for your review. Seems maybe I have been too busy with Facebook.
I have crazy dreams, but often I cannot remember them. But when I do, they are fantastical, with a current of fear or nervousness underpinning them. The dreams are in living color with smells that sometimes still fill my nose when I wake up. Evidence that I was actually in that other place perhaps?
As far as I know, this image has nothing to do with my dreams, or at least any that I remember. Maybe it is an vision from a dream that I just had, but is unknown to me.

One of our primary outcomes is under-two mortality. We measure it through a surveillance system implemented via our integrated healthcare system. By empowering communities and shifting routine pediatric, preventative care from an individual to a group setting,a huge outcome of this is to reduce malnutrition in children under two.

The final Wantman State of the World event for 2017/18 featured a screening of the documentary Palomita on May 1, 2018, in Grandin Hall. Gaelin Kingston '18 introduced filmmaker Teresa Savel, and a discussion with her followed the screening.
Palomita has been described as, “...a fascinating study of social change...” and “...a beautiful portrayal of how belonging and creativity can re-ignite the human heart in spite of trauma and hopelessness...
The film is a 54 minute documentary jewel with vibrant cinematography and original Peruvian music. Palomita introduces us to four courageous workers from the Q’ewar Project who share a glimpse into their heroic lives. The Q’ewar Project identifies the most at-risk and marginalized women, offers them training for jobs making heirloom quality, natural-fiber, multi-ethnic dolls, and helps build community. The income earned by these women crafters brings them closer to economic independence and helps the Project’s goal of constructing an elementary school. The film makes it clear that even more important than the money that is being earned, the Q’ewar Project supports these women’s ability to regain dignity for themselves and their families.
