As part of Glasgow’s Active Ageing Week, a community group from 'Keep Creative', an arts and health GP referral programme, run by Depot Arts in North Glasgow took part in our ‘Growing Bolder’ Printmaking and Archive Project.
This print was selected from the Glasgow Print Studio Archive by Colin from the Deport Arts Group.
“It shows 2 different types of work i.e. a soldier and a cowboy. One is from the western and one from eastern mythology. The cowboy has very bright and vivacious colours where the soldier is very dull and dark but they go together very well. I have looked at a lot of Ashley Cook’s work and most of them seem to be very bright and bold”

Thanks to cheap IKEA frames, I was able to frame these precious prints. I'm absolutely in love with the test print on the right.
Guides all took turns screen printing the camp logo on a piece of calico for a camp blanket badge and their choice of a pillow slip or bag. Some girls and leaders are making fantastic collections of screen prints on their camp pillow case.
