Macro Mondays March 26th theme: The Blues
Nothing wilted here, we just have the overlap of two tulip petals that I thought were pretty wonderful. The product of a multi image focus stack, this image should reward viewing full screen and more. If you do zoom in, you'll notice a few little white things on the lower petal; I've no idea what they are, so any suggestions are welcome, as is any other input.
Macro Mondays: "Liquid" theme
I sprayed water on a window screen and held the LP cover of The Beatles' 1967 "Magical Mystery Tour" album behind the screen as I took the shot. Where the water filled the gaps between the screen openings, you see an inverted refracted view of the cover. A photo of the album cover itself is in the first comment box.

It had been a beautiful day in the northern bay on Mallorca. Far cry from the heavy downpours that we’ve had today in Cardiff. Considerably warmer there too, with having to decide which pudding (not) to have for the evening meal being the most taxing decision in the day.
With a cold front due from the arctic over the next few days I might have to try to get this as a screen saver in work ( if only!!!!)

When I shot this scene earlier today from our picture window,
I wasn't thinking about the "screen" in the left frame versus the clear glass on the right! Love that it's all the same view, although the screen does act as a filter!
The "philosophical" explanation of "screen memory" has always been of significance to me . . .
