The most interesting thing about the scrapers is that at any point in time on any given day they are steadily crawling up the hill, appearing from nowhere and disappearing over the horizon. I have never seen one get down. If this were a sci-fi novel, this would be part of a null-space transportation operation, which by someone's oversight was made partly visible in our dimension.

Bank of America Center sky scraper in San Francisco, CA - 52 floors

I've taken several excursions into Philadelphia to photograph boot scrapers in a couple of the older areas of center city and have posted a mosaic or two of them Here. A dear friend and I were in an antique shop a day or two ago and, wouldn't you know it, I found one sitting on the floor and immediately snapped it up. Neatly enough, it's not exactly like any that I've shot in Philly.

I thought it is an interesting angle. Actually these are two buildings. And... did you notice the reflections?
