Scilla, Calabria, Italy, at dusk. I wanted to add a single frame version but it keeps failing to upload. The lights of Sicily are visible at the left horizon across the straits of Messina.
Scilla è situato sull'omonima punta, che sorge 22 km a nord del capoluogo: il Promontorio Scillèo, proteso sullo Stretto di Messina, che anticamente veniva infatti denominato Stretto di Scilla.
Taken at Cornell Botanical Gardens. I left this a little darker that I normally do as I thought it brought the blue out more vibrantly here.
I hope everyone enjoys this image! :D
In these days of physical distancing all my photos are taken on my own property. A long lens really comes in handy. The Robins are back & the scilla (blue flowers) are blooming. :)
I don't know the name of this tiny flower..each blossom is about 3/4 inch wide. wish I had them in my yard!!! Yes, it is squll or scilla..thanks for the ID
