I found this tiny beauty blooming in my lawn yesterday. Tiny is right too, they're only about 1/4 inch across. It was a perfect spring day despite the small earthquake we had =) Scilla, or squill are found in woodlands, subalpine meadows, and seashores across the Old World. Check out the intensely blue stamens.
