The Galileo Science Museum is just around the corner from the Uffizi. There's 3 floors (18 rooms) of scientific instrumentations arranged chronology. Overall, there were some interesting items, but I would have liked the objects to be better connected to the discoveries they enabled.

The Orem O. Robbins Science Center holds the chemistry and physics departments, as well as biology labs. A Hamline University trustee since 1979, Mr. Robbins served as board chair and was elected a life trustee in 1990.

Sep 22 four student volunteers from the Physics Dept’s Outreach Group joined the Chemistry Dept’s Outreach Group for “An Evening of Science” in front of the French Science Building. Using demonstrations, the students explained two topics they learned in mechanics, Newton’s 3rd Law and Waves.
Students got a pilot’s view of an airplane cockpit during Science Chicago’s “Aviation Up Close” tour of the Chicago Executive Airport (formerly Palwaukee Airport).
