Of the many new UP paint scheme variants, the 7271 is wearing what may be about the best one; Wings, and no flag. Obviously, I'd be pro-silver trucks, red frame stripe, and green nose anti-skid, but this is about as good as it gets these days.
This unit was released from GE in November 2022 (flic.kr/p/2nXVwn8), but still looks like it's fresh out of the shop here in early March of the next year.
Here, we see this C44ACM rebuild leading the GVASAL 28, a grain train from Avon, IA to Shamrock,KS. "Shamrock" was a location that I couldn't find immediately, but upon further investigation, I found that UP puts it between Pratt and Liberal, KS, and potentially to the east of Arkalon?
Regardless, this particular shot was taken at MacVicar Ave. in Topeka on UP's Topeka Sub.
Pick a scheme, any scheme. Wandered across this scene at Blue Island and looked around to see if this was being staged for anybody. Maybe, the hostler was a railfan and did this for himself? Who knows, who cares, I'll take it.

Tomorrow I'm going to try the american visa to finally visit America. Well, I must say it was so boring to fill all those formularies, lot of them. Well, I can say some of them are really funny. I don't really use to answer if I am a terrorist or if I am going to start a prostitution scheme.

Pioneer "Laminatka" 230.001 seen here between Žabčice and Vranovice with a train of box wagons for Břeclav from Brno-Maloměřice. The machine carries its original number of S4890.001 after a repaint into original red and yellow colour scheme.
The pioneer Slovakian Laminatka of ZSSK Cargo - 240.001 - has also been painted into its old colour scheme and is distinguishable from the ČDC machine by carrying a Soviet red star on the front.

In this westward facing view off the old flyover at Cresson, the whole track scheme at Cresson as well as the engine house facilities is easily visible. Some engines sit at the facility, awaiting service, while cabin cars and MOW cars sit on the adjacent tracks. A freight train is seen rolling through Cresson as well.

Union Pacific 4-8-4 No. 844 and 4-6-6-4 No. 3985 pull a passenger charter just outside of Weber Canyon at Uintah, Utah on April 16, 1991. Behind 3985's water car is Union Pacific 4-6-0 No. 1243 (on a flat car) bound for Railfar in Sacramento, California.

A CSX West Olive coal train turns the corner toward Grand Rapids in Plymouth, Michigan with a much improved yellow nose scheme. I hated the all grey and blue/grey schemes, this was an improvement but far from what could have been considering all the classy schemes that disappeared into Family Lines and CSX. April 1990
SM42-2547 shunts with a set of Cedrob containers, which are to be loaded up at the local bulk cargo terminal in the harbour of Gdynia. At the end of July 2023 the locomotive has undergone a repair together with a change in the paint scheme. From now on, all CTL locomotives are to be painted this way.
The list of locomotives in this new livery is currently still relatively short. This is the only 'Stonka' which I saw in Gdynia to have the orange and silver paint put on, however there might be some other ones around the country. There is also ET22-R002 after a repair finished just before last christmas eve.

Last two photos from the Southsea Coastal Scheme. Here is another shot of the ferry to France. You can travel to Caen, Cherbourg, St Malo and Le Havre from Portsmouth. This is MV Normandie.

MLW's RS-18 CN 3684 and FPA4 CN 6765 are both wearing the same paint scheme and are both powered by a 12-251 Alco engine as they rest in a hangar at Exporail.

The C-160 belongs to the Lufttransportgeschwader 63 based at Hohn AB.
Until end of 2021 the type will be phased out of the German Luftwaffe inventory. It´s successor the A400M of the Luftransportgeschwader62 at Wunstorf AB will have taken over the duties of German military air transport.
MBTA F40PH-3C 1030 debuted in its new Boston Maine minuteman 'heritage' scheme on a special charter train operated jointly by the MBTA, Keolis, and the Massachusetts Coastal Railroad. MC's Cape Cod Central Railroad dinner train (including both ex NH FL9s) was bracketed by a pair of MBTA units and operated for the New England Railroad Club as guests enjoyed dinner on board while making a round trip from South Station to and across the Cape Cod Canal and return.
The rear of the southbound train catches the last rays of sun as it passes the cranberry bogs just south of the Wood Street overpass. The train has just cleared BAY (note the small blue block limit sign) at MP 36.44 which denotes the end of the MBTA owned and Keolis operated Middleboro Mainline and the start of the MassDOT owned and Mass Coastal operated Cape mainline.

July, 2013:
CSXT #8767 (YN2) brings a Herzog train off the Grand Rapids Sub into Ogden Dunes on the former Conrail Chicago Line. #8767 was one of a total of 155 SD60Ms and SD60Is built for Conrail in the early 1990s. Equipped with third rail shoes for the Hudson Line, #8767 was the last Conrail SD60M retired from a Class I.
That's my 44th anniversary contribution.
This airframe, XW224, has been painted in a commemorative colour scheme to mark 50 years of operation for the Aérospatiale SA330 Puma in Royal Air Force service. The helicopter is seen here landing in a confined area on Salisbury Plain Training Area.

A trio of GP9s lay over at the small Central Vermont facility in Palmer MA on a quiet July 1984 afternoon. The classy green and gold paint scheme on the locomotives reflects the line's GT and CN heritage.

Emirates A380-800 "Dubai Expo special scheme" landing on 27 right at London Heathrow airport July 2022.
Metro-North train 1902 rolls northward on the Waterbury Branch at Beacon Falls, CT on Monday June 10th 2024. In the lead is P32AC-DM 231 wearing the New Haven Railroad "McGinnis" scheme.
Amtrak #8, with heritage paint scheme of AMTK 156 on point, is rolling south past the northbound CP 287 as they approach Lake Hill on the C&M sub.
These falls are off the beaten track a 40minute drive down some of the worst, most heavily potholed, single-tracked roads I can remember- not for the faint-hearted!
A pleasant combination of cascades but having wanted to see these out-of-the-way falls for several years since learning of them I was a little sad to have got there just too late: they have built a hydro scheme (the intake is visible as rails at the top of the shot here) which has necessitated the 'improving' of the forest tracks in the vicinity and the clearing of trees and vegetation. Hopefully nature will encroach soon.
