Friday, March 26, 2010. I am starting to put together my schedule for classes next Fall. It is always a long process, because once you figure out what classes you need, you then have to figure out the times and pick a good teacher to take. I have been working on this for a while, but I finally figured out what my schedule will definitely be for next year. I have a very good shot at getting the classes I want because Honors College students get to pick first. If I get the classes I want, I won’t have class on Wednesday or Friday next year. I really like this, because then I have entire days to myself to complete work without having to worry about what time my next class is. I especially like having off on Fridays because I only have 4 day weeks, so on Wednesday, when everyone else is trying to make it until Friday, I only have one day of classes left and it’s the weekend.

Great Learning brings to you a free course on Process Scheduling Algorithms. Scheduling is a concept that all operating systems use. Understanding the order of execution of tasks based on popular algorithms like Round robin, Shortest Job First, and more. These algorithms are at the heart of how a process gets executed, its priority, and its scheduling on the lines of algorithms such as round-robin, shortest job first, FCFS, and more. We will also be covering process synchronization and understanding how the critical section works as well. Enroll today in Process Scheduling Algorithms and after the course completion, you will get a certificate.

i haven't taken a class in comp lit here, and I am not sure what to expect. seems like I would get a chunk of theory- but do I have to write about hamlet? (i secretly love hamlet though)
