Sisters Academy Part no 2 - The Takeover

In the Takeover we take over the leadership of a series of actual upper secondary schools. We transform the school completely in an immersive landscape of light-, sound- and set-design. The Sister and staff moves in as the new ‘Head Mistress’ and as strange enchanting new colleagues. The teachers at the school are now facilitated to work from the performative premise that they are now teachers at a school based on aesthetic principles – If the aesthetic dimension was governing society and not the economic and if tactile perception was valued as highly as the rational then how would you teach? – Is the question – All to evoke sensuous learning innovations. Math might start by an exercise on ‘how to sense Pi’, History might be initiated by sharing the dreams of the night to explore collective unconscious patterns. Thus, Sisters Academy is not only emphasizing and amplifying the value of the creative subject fields on upper secondary school level, but even more radical these are fundamental to all other subject fields, thus, the project also seek to have an actual political impact on the educational system.
The Swedish manifestation of Sisters Academy is co-produced with the cultural Malmö-based venue Inkonst and carries the project-titel Sisters Academy Malmö. Sisters Academy Malmö falls in two parts.

TRISTESSES
TRISTESSES is a theatrical performance whose main theme is the relation between power and sadness. Borrowing the conventions of detective fiction and political comedy, Anne-Cécile Vandalem explores with humor one of the most formidable political weapons of the day: making the masses sad. Through cinematographic stage design, she shines a spotlight on the power of the media and the ways censorship functions in the open or, insidiously, in the shadow.

I proiettori di immagine PROIETTA sono un ottimo mezzo per la promozione di eventi per musei o la proiezione di materiale iconografico. Proiezioni in interno/esterno di grandi o medie dimensioni con risultati di forte imapatto scenografico. L'adozione delle proiezioni come mezzo di promozione o arricchimento di allestimenti di musei, mostre, eventi ecc.. è sempre più diffusa. I proiettori possono essere dotati anche di effetti dinamici che consentono dissolvenze tra le immagini, rotazione, cambiamenti di colore ecc... Le scenografie possono essere concordate tra PROIETTA e il cliente stesso in modo da ottenere il migliore risultato scenografico possibile.
