Sisters Academy Part no 2 - The Takeover

In the Takeover we take over the leadership of a series of actual upper secondary schools. We transform the school completely in an immersive landscape of light-, sound- and set-design. The Sister and staff moves in as the new ‘Head Mistress’ and as strange enchanting new colleagues. The teachers at the school are now facilitated to work from the performative premise that they are now teachers at a school based on aesthetic principles – If the aesthetic dimension was governing society and not the economic and if tactile perception was valued as highly as the rational then how would you teach? – Is the question – All to evoke sensuous learning innovations. Math might start by an exercise on ‘how to sense Pi’, History might be initiated by sharing the dreams of the night to explore collective unconscious patterns. Thus, Sisters Academy is not only emphasizing and amplifying the value of the creative subject fields on upper secondary school level, but even more radical these are fundamental to all other subject fields, thus, the project also seek to have an actual political impact on the educational system.
The Swedish manifestation of Sisters Academy is co-produced with the cultural Malmö-based venue Inkonst and carries the project-titel Sisters Academy Malmö. Sisters Academy Malmö falls in two parts.

It has a character all to interpret: sensitive, a little touchy and so sweetly naive
He likes to stay to himself, in his world, in his art. He has a thousand dreams and a place in his heart already occupied
not betray you ever and is capable of affezzionarsi to you as nobody here, you do not forget easily. is in Italy for years and speaks fluent
It is here to study Italian art and culture, which has always fascinated me as a child;
his family has remained in his home country and understand how it can be complicated

for this reason I consider it a strong girl, determined and courageous, because it takes a lot of courage

This is the first draft of the scenography used for the newtableconcept exhibition. The design has been created from a young architect and it enphasizes how this foldable table disapperas when you don't need it.
In a 2d interactive scenary the new table concept is just another shape.
