Photo taken while visiting my boss in the country north of the Dallas Texas area near a town by the name of Blue Ridge. He has 14 acres there. This is a 1.5 acre pond on his property. Nice place to relax and get away from the city.
Port Willunga in golden hour is spectacular. The angle of the sun in winter makes the cliffs glisten a spectacular orange.

Another of many images we took during our early morning visit to Moraine Lake...this was just before sunrise. The best views are definitely from atop the rock pile, but be sure to get there early and take a flashlight because it's a bit spooky hiking it in the dark :-) Have a great Tuesday, and as always, thanks for stopping by to visit!!!!

Old Town across the lake; it's decidedly one of the prettiest sceneries in my hometown. I tend to shoot here at least once every year, and I did get a series of sunset shots just two months earlier.

While documenting work done on jetty, took these scenes with my point and shoot Sony DSC-V3 with wide angle adapter.

While in the Swinging Bridge Picnic area and a view looking up at a nearby Incense Cedar. My thinking in composing this image was similar in thought to other images I captured looking down a road with something distant as a backdrop. Here I got up close at the cedar tree and looked up, focusing on both the bark as well as the tree crown and skies above. I closed down on the aperture to have more of the complete image in focus. Metering the image was a little more involved in finding an exposure that wouldn't blow any of the highlights in the brighter skies above but still allowed me to pull out the colors and details present in the shadows nearby without having a color cast.
