Buba wearing my scarf (flu's been of the nasty kind, 2 weeks and still I'm not entirely ok...) and looking generally concerned. But don't let appearances fool you, she had treats and (one) spaghetti just before this photo was taken... ;)

Yarn spun from a Loop SSB.. this is my first project completed from yarn to FO! This is also my first knitted item! I love it!
Cat Bordhi pattern. Handspun alpaca/silk batts from loop.etsy.com, fun to spin! The plain grey stripes are commercial alpaca.
For Ravelry...my lastest knitting project. It's a pretty simple lace pattern so it keeps me from getting frustrated, but it's also teaching me a few new things. This yarn is wonderful. It's hard to see in the picture, but it has little specks of silver that show up in the light to make it a little more special. I can't wait to finish this and wear it. :)

Finally finished this scarf a few weeks ago. Took a while cause I kept getting sidetracked with something else. I'm very happy with how it turned out...love the lace pattern and the color. :)
Scarf knitted for me by my friend Liz to go under my green walking coat, it fits so well and is very warm.

Con bufanda.
Desde que a mi hermana le ha dado por tejer, tiene una larga lista de encargos por mi parte... De momento solo he conseguido que me haga una bufanda muy molona...

It really was so cold as I walked around the Highland Wildlife Park but when you see a scene such as this it makes it all worth while. They have this little gritting machine that goes around making the tracks reasonable to walk on. I have just renewed my membership to this place and at £35 for the year I think that is a bargain considering what you get to see. I also feel it is a contribution to the upkeep of the amazing animals and the surroundings which they live in.

Before zooming in, this scarf appears incredibly smooth and shiny - almost iridescent. However, when you focus on only an inch or two, the weave predominates and the silky appearance disappears. Still interesting, but nothing like what I was anticipating!
I found this fun scarf while shopping with my hubby downtown on valentine's day. Also got it in about 5 other colors, so FUN! Bigger on my website, in my newborn gallery. Thanks for looking.

The good thing about a huge stash of yarn is that we can always come up with great combos for scarves!
Don't ask why. Don't ask how. Don't comment on the tripod just out of shot with pegs and sticky-tape. Don't ask questions about why she's got no top on implying she's warm and yet is wrapped in a scarf.
It just seemed like something different to do you know? ;-)

I was looking through some old photos and found this scarf with my grandparent's wedding cake topper wrapped inside of it. They were married in 1946, I am assuming this scarf is from around that time?
