(for joel)

Lomography Colour Negative 400

This is the portion of my desk that has my new scanner/printer/copier thing. It also has my golf clubs and some other stuff. Like a library book that is probably a year overdue.

Different from galvanometer control technology, polygon laser scanner has rotary mirror which adopts advanced bearing and spindle design, rotating speed up to 50,000 RPM, scanning rate over 100 KHz, scanning speed up to 512 m/s (1600 lines/s) and makes ultra-fast and ultra-cutting-edge scanning applications possible. Brushless DC motor and servo system combined to provide excellent performance and reliability, speed stability < 0.05%. Based on FPGA and DSP high-speed digital processing technology and scanning galvanometer core control algorithm. The application of high-resolution micro grating encoder is mostly used in high energy and high pulse frequency laser application scenarios.

Key Features Of Polygon Scanner

Rotary mirror has high linear speed, in the high-speed and high-precision galvanometer application to break the foreign monopoly, to achieve the breakthrough of zero localization, in the leading level at home and abroad.

It can also be used in solar cutting, food and beverage packaging, high speed marking, scanning inspection, medical scanning inspection, optical scanning, laser cleaning, high speed marking, cutting and other fields.

Photo-Scan

11-14-07

This is another photo-scan I took last week while playing around with my classrooms scanner. I sometimes think of these as a sort of digital photogram, even though the result is different, the shifting of the technology and the playful simplicity of it is similar. Here I took a crumpled tissue and found the beautiful shades and values that play across the soft surface of this otherwise derelict object. More fun and play.

To prevent the state from confiscating his rent, Conny and I built a very expensive model railway.

we had to have a central theme, which mine is color, and one photo had to be ambiguous. I used highlighters.

A Japanese envelope from my mom.
