It seems like a normal scanner, and in reality it is. But what turns this technology into assistive technology for someone with visual impairments is the screen reading program that you hook up to the scanner.

I scanned my hand and moved it around during the middle to create a interesting effect of sharp image into a fuzzy/blurry image.
This is my scanner picture. This is a picture of a flower which came off of my key chain. I chose this picture because i like how you can see the flower so clearly. i also like this picture because i like how you can see the colors of the keychain so clear and how it is so bright. If i were to retake this picture i would chose a different subject. i think that i would have chose jewelry. i think that i would have liked it better because you can see more details with the necklace or ring.
