Sydney Government (Sydney Buses) operated Mercedes Benz O305 MkIV, operating route 236 from Spit Junction to Musgrave Street Wharf (now called Mosman South). I believe the route has a new number now as well.
Model produced and sold by Ozbus Models (ozbusmodels.com.au/)
Offside View - 1/76 scale (OO Gauge), Leyland Leopard - Alexander bodied Y Type bus. First Kelvin (formerly KCB Network, laterally First Glasgow).
This code 3 model represents the last livery worn by the surviving Y types which lasted until the takeover of KCB Network by First Bus. Wearing an all over red, with First Kelvin fleetnames, sadly the bus this model represents was not long for the service bus world in Scotland, and was shipped to Cuba.
While personally I quite like this livery, I agree it is nowhere near as nice/smart/professional as the red and cream of KCB, or as interesting as the yellow and blues of Kelvin Scottish.
This code 3 model, having been dismantled for interior upgrade and outer shell stripping/repainting, also benefits from the (painstaking) application of the tiny “No Smoking” stickers in every window.
These are some model planes my son and I have been working on lately. Not too bad at all seeing as these are the first few models he's ever built and seeing as I haven't really worked on models like this since I was a kid.
I built a few of the models from the classic Lego theme Model Team. This is the Black Thunder helicopter set 5542 from 1998 with 483 pieces.
