When I was building the model railroad I ran across some cool airplane kits in the same scale. Here’s a Handley-Page Heracles, which was the largest commercial airliner in the world in the 1930s. That corrugated look appeared on a couple of other iconic planes from the period. Shown with two other bits of classic 1930s industrial art for size and scale.
