Our friend Ken has RSD/CRPS. I know I've looked at this scale before, but having just talked to my SIL about labor pains I thought to look this up again. I was in hard, painful labor for four hours before opting for an epidural. Ken has his pain all the time. He's a much stronger person than I am.

This is the type of shot I normally try to accomplish with my captive charges who are used to my frightening mug staring down at them. Somewhat harder to achieve with a wild specimen, taking patience and stealth. This 3cm neonate learned to trust my presence allowing me to get close enough for a head shot.

Incidentally this is a different individual from the previous one, at a different location. Deeply hidden in long grass hence the slight green tinge at the left edge!

Just uploading for the purpose of group games...haha. It's a Z-scale train table.

Ohhhh . . . that's what it was . . . hmmmm.

This was a large, beautiful model with an onboard smoke system that was used to good effect. I think it's a clipped-wing T-Craft 15A, but I can't swear to that.

Notice the burned-out field in the background.

scaled quail, Pueblo West, CO, 2013 Sep 24. After a few hours of searching good habitat in rural Colorado without finding this species, we found a family group in town, including this one strolling across a driveway.

I needed a building with unusual dimensions to fit a strange spot on my layout, so I scratch built a modern highrise using plexiglass, styrene, foam core and other details. Check out my blog for more detail on this:
