Air Bead air pump is used to inflate the Type 3 CC Tiny House 1:10 Scale Model. The Air pump outlet had a diameter that fits snugly into 32 mm outer diameter PVC pipe. It was used to construct the plumbing for Inner and Outer shell inflation.
Earliest 18th c at bottom is the highest quality based upon its featuring 8 sets of scales, accuracy, attention to detail, and embellishment of its engraving. The small numerals of the center example are deeply stamped, while the topmost, late century example is very similar to the size, format, and conventions of the mass-produced scales of the 19th c.

Painting easel I scratchbuilt tonight. I'm planning on having a figure "painting" at this easel on my city's sidewalk. I'm thinking about putting a little paintbrush in his hand.
Issued by Brooklin Models in 2004. It is 1:43 scale and crafted in white metal.
The model is from their Anniversary Editions-Thirty Years of Brooklin.

I felt like doing something brave. This was the best I could do without a trampoline, water hose, and firecrackers.

Une balance, du latin bis (2 fois) et lanx (plateau), est un instrument de mesure qui sert à évaluer des masses. Pour effectuer cette mesure, on utilise des « poids », appellation que l'on emploie dans le langage courant ; en termes scientifiques, on utilise l'appellation « masses marquées ».
Les balances existent depuis l’Antiquité. La balance nécessitant l’utilisation de poids, elle obligea à réglementer le pesage avec le plus grand soin. Les balances ne sont devenues de véritables instruments de précision qu’au XIXe siècle.
Au XVIIe siècle, l’invention de Roberval révolutionne le pesage. C’est la première fois que l’on a l’idée de poser les plateaux au-dessus du fléau et non plus en dessous. Au XVIIIe siècle, Lavoisier perfectionne la balance et les principes de pesage. Il en généralise l’usage dans les laboratoires, après avoir conçu une balance très sensible. La balance Roberval est perfectionnée par Béranger qui parvient à réduire les forces latérales et les frottements en utilisant des petits fléaux secondaires qui remplacent les tiges de force. Au XXe siècle, les balances « Roberval » et « Béranger » sont sur tous les comptoirs des commerçants lorsqu'apparaît, à la fin du XIXe siècle, la «balance automatique» constituée d’un cadran gradué, circulaire ou en forme d’éventail où l’on peut directement lire la masse de l’objet pesé indiqué par une aiguille, et sans avoir à déplacer de poids manuellement.
