Did I trick you for a minute thinking it would be about humans? This is a plant, a bit of a prickly popsicle that looks quite delicious to me considering I eat a plant based diet. So, right after I take macro photos of plants, I pretty much scream, "You look delicious!" right in their faces, which is probably pretty intimidating. Also, cactus is especially delicious when you remove the thorns and saute it with seasonings. Chicago doesn't have a ton of it, unfortunately, or fortunately for them because I'd probably spend all day pointing at the desert going, "I'm going to eat you...! And you! And you!"
Anyway, eat your veggies!

See, okay, global warming? It's not the warming part I don't like. Hey, I could deal with warming. Rising waters? Manhattan disappears? It'll just be a very expensive water-park. The polar bears and penguins have fewer ice floes? They'll probably be floating around on surfboards like they do in all the funny cartoon movies.
I like it warm. Spring and Summer? Bring 'em on. Tropical Pennsylvania? Awesome! Outside, y'know, the outbreaks of rare tropical diseases that you get from rare tropical burrowing flies.
But it's the fact that global warming might trigger a new Ice Age? Whoa, whoa, hold up. No. Noooo way. Ice Age? You gotta be kidding me. That's not global warming. That's global icebox. That's global nonsense. Nobody wants that. It'd be like a permanent winter. Ew!
So. Eat it, global warming. Go green, everybody. Like this ivy here. Which is... uhh, y'know, green.

Billy attended a rain barrel workshop on Sat morning. For the price of $52 Billy was able to make and bring home our very own water barrel!

As part of our Green Deeds Week (and beyond) the Fun Team organised an organic lunch to help reduce our eco-footprint on this planet.

The Mumbai Police along with the Home Guards and Volunteers, do a fantastic job of people management and ensuring law and order during possibly the world's most crowded street carnival - the Ganesha Visarjan. Maintaining peace in such situations is not a joke. Hat's off to these real heroes.

A huge amount of rubbish gets thrown up on the beach the morning after the main Ganpati immersions of the previous day. Rag pickers choose what they can use. The BMC and volunteers - mostly school and college kids - clean up what's left.
