The coffin was to raise awareness for Save Our Seas and the plight of dolphins that drown daily in fishing nets.

May 22, 2010 -- A private members-only tour of the unrestored portion of Ellis Island: 29 hospital buildings on the South side. The tour was offered to donating members of the non-profit, Save Ellis Island.
Save Ellis Island is the National Park Service fundraising and programmatic non-profit partner for the rehabilitation of the twenty-nine remaining buildings on Ellis Island, with the mission and mandate to raise the funds necessary to create and sustain, within these buildings, the Ellis Island Institute and Conference Center.
(The abandoned portions of the island have been open to tours on a very limited basis since the 2005 as part of Open House New York.)

Local politicians are so stubborn and dense, digging in their heals, heads in the sand, refusing to listen to humane alternative methods. Meetings, rallies, petitions, letters, no help.... So, volunteers took matters into their own hands, to save the 200 or so resident Canadian Geese in our park and lake, we have chased them off ourselves, "Human Border Collies" they are calling us, but, it is working, the slaughter may be avoided, Save the geese!
I really don't know what the Mog boy was doing with his face, but I appreciated his Save Point book :)
