Crisp lime. melon, and pear merge with layers of fresh fig and herbs with just a hint of mineral on the aromatic finish. A blend from cool-climate vineyards.

Wine Tasting Event at the Monterebro Shop

After a Fantastic basketball game my nephew played this morning (6 pts, gazillion rebounds, team won 45-42), I ran some errands.

Right after I bought some wine, I went to start my car, nothing. I had left my lights on for less than 15 minutes. After my car would not start a couple weeks ago, I knew it was time to get a new battery. A few phone calls later, starting to get cold....my Dad showed up. I got warm then we jumped my car. We headed to AutoZone and got a new battery. Whew.

As soon as I got settled at home, I turned on NBC and had a glass. Nice.

And very nice it was too.

Monterebro is engaged in integrated viticulture and in the production, sale, distribution; and export of premium Spanish wine. The Monterebro cult wines are produced using top quality grapes picked from old, unirrigated vineyards located at altitude in Jumilla (Spain).

"Choose Monterebro if you wish to experience the true pleasure of Jumilla’s unique terroir."

Burrows Investment Group has purchased several small vineyards throughout Jumilla since 2009. This provides Monterebro with complete control over the entire winemaking process - from vine to bottle. The grapes cultivated in these vineyards are used exclusively for the production of the Monterebro wines. Therefore, Monterebro is one of the most authentic viticultural and oenological projects ever to emerge from Jumilla.
