I lost my job today - the company I've been contracting through went into receivership, and contractually I can't work for the company I've been working at directly or through another contracting agent. Even worse is that they owe me for 2 months of work, and all my expenses. Sob!

I drowned my sorrows in a very large glass of sav blanc when I got home.

It's also my nephew's 21st today - so Happy Birthday Sam!

The wine is difficult to find in the UK, but having tasted it both there and now in the UK, it is worth buying if you come across it. They also do a couple of Reds to diew for

reasonably priced and not a bad drop

Wise Guy didn't show well. New Zealand and France were bright, citrus, and had a great sniff.
