View of the Caldera on the Greek island of Santorini

Santorini Island, Greece. I wouldn't have gotten this shot if I didn't have to take a leak. I was riding along on a motor scooter and pulled off the road to take a pee, as well as enjoy the beautiful sunset. I noticed a little path going downhill towards the sea. I followed it and it turned into a proper stone path, which then led to this little church that was built right into the cliff face...Lots more travel photography, plus travel movies, travel writing, budget travel tips, nude beaches and hot springs, and more on my adventure travel website: Gabrieltraveler.com

Santorini, Greece

my friend, Chris, visited a friend of ours who's currently stationed in Germany, and while out there he made a detour to Santorini. these photos were attached with his email. i've always known that place was gorgeous, but hot damn! o_O

"the greek island Santorini was really cool, worth the trip down there. It wasn't too crowded and not too expensive b/c it was off season, but the weather was perfect and the architecture w/ the views of the caldera were awesome. I rode a boat out to the active volcano and went swimming in the hot springs. attached are a couple photos. Not much nite life going on tho, just a few clubs w/ the locals, but Im sure it goes off in the summer b/c there were a few places closed up, that place thrives on tourism."
