Shall we start counting grains of sand? It's amazing how the wind creates these patterns in the sand.
Just in case you can't tell what it is... This is a "Living" Sand Dune. Living means that it moves so much every year. The Dune has moved on top of a few trees. So the only photoshoping done is some color correction.

Sitting on our balcony at the Riverside Inn (A+ accommodation), we watched small and medium craft ply the calm waters of the river, gulls, cormorants and blue herons perching on the pier stumps, and the occasional seal head popped up to look around.
