This little squirrel was sampling his find, before burying it with his treasure trove in my flower bed. 😊

Campo de Criptana is a Spanish municipality belonging to the province of Ciudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. It is located in the natural region of La Mancha, within the sub-region called Mancha Alta. It is part of the commonwealth of Promancha.

In the town there is a large sample of the typical mills against which Don Quixote fought in chapter VIII of the universal book of Cervantes, thus becoming the hallmark of La Mancha. Of a total of ten mills, three date from the 16th century: Molino Burleta, Molino Infanto and Molino Sardinero.

End of Blues Point Road, Blues Point, aka McMahons Point.

And because this image was taken from within a forest of gum trees, here's the haunting sound of 'Sweet Lullaby' by French artists 'Deep Forest'. This is the cool, extended mix:

So, on this occasion I parked up on Blues Point Road near the amazing 'Breadworks' cafe, sampling the Flat White Coffee and a simple 'Poached Eggs on Toast', before rambling down to the Blues Point Reserve.

Blues Point Reserve provides magical views across the harbour to the bridge, city and Barangaroo - but you can also look west to Balmain, Goat Island, Balls Head and right up along the Parramatta River.

The gal (my guess as to gender) was picking up and putting back down this fluffy material, presumably thinking about building a nest. The only problem is that 2 feet of snow was predicted for the storm coming in last night. So I hope they didn't work too hard on construction! Canada Geese, Siskiyou County, California

The State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan is an art museum located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, founded in 1937 as a temporary exhibition for handicrafts. The museum contains over 4,000 exhibits on decorative art in Uzbekistan, including wood carving, ceramics, embossing, jewelry, gold weaving, embroidery, and samples of mass production in local industry.

Until the beginning of the 21st century, the museum was located in the former palace of the Russian diplomat Alexander Alexandrovich Polovtsev Jr..

The museum building, known as the Polovtsev house, was purchased by his secretary Mikhail Stepanovich Andreev from Tashkent merchant Nikolai Ivanovich Ivanov. Under Andreev's guidance, the interiors of the house were readjusted and refurbished to fit an Oriental style. The main architect of this restructuring was A. A. Burmeyster. The house was known colloquially as the "Polovtsev House". The building is an example of Oriental architectural and decorative art, built in the late 19th century. The decoration, carving and painting of the building was done by Uzbek folk artists Usta T. Arsankulov, A. Kazymdzhanov (Tashkent), Usta Shirin Muradov (Bukhara), Usta A. Palvanov (Khiva), and Usta Abdullah (Rishtan).
