600 000 années d’Histoire de l’Homme sont retracées de manière vivante et réelle à travers 1200 m² d’expositions, des reconstituions d’habitat, des animations étonnantes (démarrage du feu, tir au propulseur) et des démonstrations artisanales (poterie, taille de silex, forge…).

Dans un bâtiment étonnant, deux expositions permanentes de 1200 m² vous emmènent pour un voyage de 600 000 ans d'Histoire sur les traces de nos ancêtres.
L'exposition "les scènes de la Préhistoire" :
de -600 000 ans à 50 ans après J.-C, à Samara.
De la période Paléolithique au Gallo-Romain, des scènes reconstituées avec des décors et objets représentatifs de différentes périodes en Picardie, permettent d'appréhender les aspects de l'Histoire de l'Homme, l'évolution de son environnement, ses modes de vie et ses techniques (métallurgie, évolution de la taille de silex, poterie...).

En visite libre et à votre rythme, 8 salles interactives et thématiques vous donnent les clés de lecture pour comprendre tous les aspects de l'archéologie et ses évolutions en fonction d'une multitude de paramètres (climats, migrations...).
The whole Samar team of FDC had their team building in a beach that's about 30 minutes away from Catbalogan. Had a great time with my group during the day long event! I also had my fill of lechon then. One lechon for lunch and another lechon for dinner! Fatty delights. Hahaha!
I also had the chance to talk to one of the VPs in our distributor. According to him, anyone who can sell in Samar can sell anywhere in the Philippines. He also mentioned that all the CMTs who were previously assigned in the region have already gone quite far in the company. I'm hoping my future in the company turns out the same! :D

I went straight to the office from Tacloban on Monday. This meant that I actually had the chance to take photos during my route. Thing is, the weather did not cooperate for much of the week which meant that my camera spent most days in my bag. Just sharing some of the photos that I was able to take.
On our way back to Catbalogan, I was able to get a glimpse of a point where I can get a "bird's eye view" of the whole city. You could possibly take a shot of the mountain and the sea that surround the city. Hopefully I'll be able to go there this Sunday!
