We have been able to open the windows some lately and on Sam and Dean's adoption day we opened all of the windows in the house for the day. They enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels and rabbits in our yard dreaming, I am sore, of some day being outside to pursue one of their own. We do keep them indors, though, so it will be a dream for them.

Sam turned 7 years old yesterday! I can't believe I have been lucky enough to spend all these years with him. I remember him as a 3 month old puppy, stumbling around tripping over himself!

We have been through a lot together and I feel truly blessed to have such a loyal, loving friend!
