Sam was in NY with The Gospel at Colonus special performance in Central Park summer 2018. Earlier that day I ran around with him for an hour uptown shooting pix for his upcoming gospel record. I just found out he passed away a few days ago. We were partners in a documentary about Clarence Fountain from The Blind Boys of Alabama. I hadn't spoken to him in a couple of months, he was on my list of people to call this week. Lesson - don't wait to make those calls on your list.
Have always though that the humble twin set is , for me, one of the great feminine outfits. Yes it may look a bit retro, but I still think they are a fabulous garment...perfect for the office!!
I had forgotten that I had a short video of myself in the dress I had on during my makeover... but here it is for what its worth!

An easy to reach spot in the Pisgah National Forest near Canton North Carolina. The trailhead to this hike is just before reaching the old stone bridge at Sunburst Falls. It is a short hike to reach this beauty along with Wash Hollow Falls which is just another 100 yards into the forest.
