Returned to Cwm Cokeworks today with a mate to do some interior shots, wasn't about to go exploring inside alone !

Series of 6 images uploaded today, all with a different treatment in post processing, finding my feet in that regard & would appreciate any honest critique to point me in the right direction.

There's so much to see in this place, I hope they don't pull it down too soon.

The course was great fun and despite scary tools and children, safety came down to common sense which most people have plenty of.

England id very strict where safety is concerned.

Here a few examples, hard hats.

One was the day the new building of BBC Sheffield started...

The Safety helmets were somewhere else, loved the placement!

Motorcycles etc...

Love all the colours, these are good tools.

A not so subtle reminder to miners that their profession was rather dangerous

here's Gerry, Martin, Tony, and Natalie hanging out with Unread Records' Chris Fischer out on the front porch of this house we performed at in Omaha, Nebraska. Chris is the one with the helmet on, ready to get his drink on. we were supposed to play at this ghetto-ass punk rock house in Omaha called The Power Pad...when we got there, we brought all our equipment down into their basement and there was dog poo everywhere. yay. we left to get something to eat and then when we came back they told us that the show was going to be moved to a different house. turns out it was a much nicer and cleaner house. yay! afterwards, Chris took us to his house, where we hung out with his friends and spent the night.

A glimpse of what life was like back in 1915, when America was Great.....

Eh, I have to give them credit at least they're using they're heads. Seriously this is one of the funniest pictures I've ever taken.

Always the safety guy, my husband installed a new fire extinguisher and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector in the camper.

on a ferry boat packed with hundreds of people, crying babies and...a cow in the hull, a demure sign pointed out where to find the life jackets

These six uniformed guys were directing traffic in and out of this parking garage all day. they made sure that no one on the sidewalk tried to make the deadly crossing if a car was coming, and told your ass to hurry up if you were crossing when a car was approaching.

Small shops surround the ancient inner-city temple in Chongqing. They sell candles, incense, alters and offerings such as fake money and cardboard mobile phones. This enterprising couple stock incense and huge candles... and fire extinguishers.
