The Associated Builders and Contractors Empire State Chapter (ABC), in conjunction with The Black Institute and many other community organizations held a rally on January 18, 2017 outside New York City Council building at 250 Broadway with a diverse crowd of hundreds of open-shop craft workers to voice opposition to mandated apprenticeship on private construction jobsites.

One of the less typical vehicles I've seen go by the house. Didn't get a very good look at it since I was way down at the bottom of the driveway...this is an extreme crop. I'm not sure about the little wheels, short wheelbase, and short track on a vehicle being pulled by an animal. I can envision some awful things.

At 0800 hours, Sergeants (fire engineers), firefighters, lieutenants and captains all from South Fulton - GA Fire Rescue received instruction on apparatus inspection practices. We all are our brothers’ keeper so a thoroughly checked apparatus is a safe apparatus!

I think I need to print this little guy out wallet-sized and carry him around in my pocket for those times when life seems to be running at warp speed.
I raced in a duathlon a couple weekends ago. It was a 2.2 mile run, a 14 mile bike, and another 2.2 mile run. I placed 7th overall! However, to my embarrassment, I forgot to take off my helmet when I started the second run portion of the race. Hey, it was my first multisport race since November. I am a little rusty at transitions.
