A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Sun safety". Of course it is midwinter here in Australia, and in my home city of Sydney we are in strict lockdown, but still able to get a glimpse of the sun through these sunglasses!

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I had already planned the square crop, composition and colour processing as I saw this shot - the orange safety equipment bringing in the warm colours with just a hint of cold colouring from the sign above. Enjoy!
Colas Rail operated 43277 'SAFETY TASK FORCE' pictured at Georgemas Junction Station on Sunday 19/1/2025 after arriving from the south at the rear of the 1Q78 1112 Inverness Milburn Yard to Inverness Milburn Yard via Wick Network Rail PLPR test train. A quick change of ends for the driver and the set would head down the Thurso branch before returning and continuing to Wick.

These leather palmed gardening gloves were the favourite gift my husband received for Christmas 2019. Firstly because they came in an XXL size so they actually fitted and they are the only ones that offered full protection against the lethal spiky thorns of a pyracantha hedge !!!

I was out for a walk when alongside the path I spotted this tree with safety glasses tucked into it. Maybe a city landscaper was working nearby, set them on a branch, and forgot them? In any case, they made a fun subject for Sliders Sunday.
