A common moth, very small but the patterns and their symmetry is key to their camouflage and survival.
I.m the land,
You are the sea,
and we dance in perfect symmetry,
content in all we'll ever be,
entwined for all eternity.
Boscombe Pier, taken on a crisp but cold February morning. I love the symmetry of the pier and also how the light changed the colours on either side.

Yogodo Hall, close to Senso-ji. The name is given like that in English, but it's actually Yōgōdō (影向堂, and the last dō means hall).
To quote the English part of the sign just outside:
Yogodo hall was built in 1994 to commemorate the 1,200th anniversary of the birth of Ennin, the monk who established Senso-ji. Inside, statues of Bodhisattva Kannon, and of 12 protective Buddhas, each assigned to a particular year of the oriental zodiac cycle, are worshipped.
Ennin (円仁) lived 794-864 and was an important Buddhist priest of the Tendai school - and also known under his posthumous name of Jikaku Daishi (慈覺大師).
