Macro Mondays : My Daily Routine
HMM to all!!
I firmly believe that religious practices and rituals add powerful dimension of symbol and meaning to one’s life. So, the most significant task in my daily routine is meditating for half an hour in the evening after offering flowers and lighting an oil lamp to Gautama Lord Buddha. The oil lamp represents the light of wisdom that illuminates the darkness and ignorance and flowers are symbolic of the impermanence of life.

Poppies were symbolic of fertility, and were eaten at these feasts to guarantee abundant crops for the following years. Poppy seeds were also thought to protect against evil and were sprinkled around barn doorways and in the corners of houses on Christmas Eve.
A million thanks to all of you for your kind support, you inspire me a lot through your wonderful, brillant, marvelous pictures Wish you all my dear friends a lovely day!
Last year it was still the normal state between performances. Unfortunately, it now has a completely different symbolic power :-(

Wisteria in full bloom ( my garden )
A climbing vine in the pea family, with delicate hanging clusters of beautiful, pale bluish-lilac flowers that emit a heavenly scent. Native to North America and eastern Asia, ornamental varieties are widely grown on walls and pergolas.
Flora records indicate wisteria has been known to live up to 100 years and even older (there is a 1200 year old wisteria tree in Japan). It's long-life bestows the symbolic meaning of immortality and longevity to the wisteria.

Symbolically the plant, with its bright colors and its very flowering branches embodies the welcome and the passion. From the esoteric point of view it is associated with the element of air with propitiatory characteristics of protection, fortune and prosperity. It is believed in fact, that by planting the bouganville outside the home It will ward off the negativity and bad luck.
Symbolic of the Ecuadorian Andes, this beautiful ,robust hummingbird is present at the highest altitue and only where stands of Chuquiragua flower abound.Thank you for your likes and comments very much appreciated.
Every photograph in order to be successful should convey a message to its viewer ... A message sometimes subtle and vague, while others strong and profound.
A frame with a latent underlying message is what we have here ... A photo that consists of two mutually contradictory both physically and symbolically elements that are nevertheless "condemned" by an act of fate to a harmonic, pleasant to the eye and not likely to easily come across elsewhere symbiosis ...
A stony, tiny in size underground blockhouse still stands in one piece against all odds .. A second world war remnant that still holds its "proud" figure intact ... This symbol that reminds us of man's insatiable, hostile and aggressive nature is being "attacked" this time by a fully blossomed almond tree that "decided" to become its long-term partner in life ...
A scene that bears a strong anti-war message, a truly optimistic scene .... Devoted to all of you who are fed up with the unbelievable ugliness that lurks around our lives lately ...

Bradgate House is a 16th-century ruin in Bradgate Park, Leicestershire, England. This is one of the first unfortified great houses in England and one of the earliest post-Roman use of bricks. It was lived in by the Grey family for the next 220 years. It is believed that the house was the birthplace of Lady Jane Grey, later Queen, ruling for a mere 9 days before being overthrown by Mary I. Jane was executed in 1553 and when her father was executed the following year the estate passed to the crown. Local history claims that groundskeepers marked the occasion of Jane's execution by pollarding the estate's oak trees in a symbolic beheading.

The symbolic cemetery (1525 m above the sea) is situated close to the Popradské pleso
(Popradské Mountain-lake) bellow western slopes of Ostrva. It was built as a memorial devoted
to people who tragically died in the High Tatras, exceptionally even to some famous people.
Tourists visit this place very often.
Currently there are over 160 memorial-boards and 50 hand-carved wooden crosses. Originally all the memorial
-boards were scattered all around the High Tatras, more or less at the places of tragedies. Otakar Štáfl (1884 - 1945)
, an academic artist, was the author of the idea to found a symbolic cemetery.
In 1936. It was finished in 1940 and open to public with the following motto:
”As a remembrance to the death and a warning to the alive”.
Castel del Monte - UNESCO world Hermitage site
When the Emperor Frederick II built this castle near Bari in the 13th century, he imbued it with symbolic significance, as reflected in the location, the mathematical and astronomical precision of the layout and the perfectly regular shape. A unique piece of medieval military architecture, Castel del Monte is a successful blend of elements from classical antiquity, the Islamic Orient and north European Cistercian Gothic.
The Expiatory Church of the Sagrada Familia, known simply as the Sagrada Familia, is a Roman Catholic basilica in Barcelona, Spain, designed by architect Antoni Gaudí. Begun in 1882, it is still under construction (November 2016). It is Gaudí's masterpiece and the greatest exponent of Catalan modernist architecture.
The Sagrada Familia is a reflection of Gaudí's artistic plenitude: he worked on it for most of his professional career, but especially in his later years, where he reached the culmination of his naturalistic style, synthesizing all the solutions and styles he had tried up to that point. Gaudí achieved perfect harmony in the interrelationship between structural and ornamental elements, between plasticity and aesthetics, between function and form, between content and container, achieving the integration of all the arts into a structured and logical whole. The Sagrada Familia has a Latin cross plan, five central naves, a three-aisled transept, and an apse with seven chapels. It boasts three façades dedicated to the Birth, Passion, and Glory of Jesus. When completed, it will have 18 towers: four at each portal, making a total of twelve for the apostles, four over the transept invoking the evangelists, one over the apse dedicated to the Virgin, and the central dome tower in honor of Jesus, which will reach 172.5 meters in height. The temple will have two sacristies next to the apse and three large chapels: the Assumption Chapel in the apse and the Baptism and Penance Chapels next to the main façade. It will also be surrounded by a cloister designed for processions and to isolate the temple from the exterior. Gaudí applied a highly symbolic content to the Sagrada Familia, both in architecture and sculpture, dedicating each part of the temple to a religious significance.

The world is real and we are not eternal. The body is only a tool for the spirit to survive on earth, adapting to find provisions for the next journey to a world we cannot understand. The abstract world ia journey destiny to main couse that gives ua life. What is eternal is time, we are mortal, temporal...

"Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep"
By Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
~ Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love. ~

Upper Antelope Canyon - Page, Arizona.....A long time ago, herds of pronghorn antelope roamed freely in Antelope Canyon, which explains the canyon's English name. It is not known exactly when people first discovered Antelope Canyon. According to local Navajos, who have lived here for some time, the canyon and the LeChee area were places where cattle grazed in winter.
To older Navajos, entering a place like Antelope Canyon was like entering a cathedral (our Navajo guide referred to this image as Monument Valley). They would probaby pause before going in, to be in the right frame of mind and to prepare for protection and respect. This would also allow them to leave with an uplifted feeling of what Mother Nature has to offer and to be in harmony with something greater than themselves. It was (and continues to be) a spiritual experience.
Actually, the shot was just a snapshot, because otherwise no suitable motif could be seen far and wide.
In retrospect, however, it has a symbolic character for me: the buildings on the left belong to one of garrisons of the Soviet rocket troops. Only the high barbed wire wall was torn down.
The railway line in the direction of view leads to the east. Goodbye comrades.
Symbolic metal mirror drops were created to be placed in the central square of Kharkov on the day of the city, August 23. But due to the insane shelling of Kharkov, which Russian barbarians continued to carry out, it was impossible to install an art object there. And the authors came up with a proposal to decorate the public space of Kyiv with giant drops.
As conceived by the authors, the drops gravitate both to the ground and to each other, symbolizing the unity of the two cities - the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, and Kharkov, which today courageously resists the Russian aggressor.
The project was implemented by a workshop from Kharkov METALSTYLE, they called it "Unity"

The main south door, known as the Porta Speciosa, is faced with red marble and flanked by five pairs of columns. It has undergone several transformations and reconstructions since it was originally built in the 13th century. This door gives access to the Cloister, a typical square Late Gothic ensemble built in 1486. The vaulting springs form consoles that are elaborately decorated with symbolic motifs. The doors and windows were given their present form in the 1880s. Sculptured stones from the Romanesque cloister were found during studies carried out in the 1960s, when the door leading into the medieval refectory, with small red marble columns, also came to light.
The Amaranth flower holds deep symbolic meaning across various cultures. It's ability to thrive in harsh conditions symbolizes hope, resilience, and determination. The flower’s name is derived from the Greek word “amarantos,” meaning unfading.
This resilient and vibrant flower is often associated with immortality, hope, and undying love.
In modern times, the amaranth flower continues to be a powerful symbol of resilience and strength In challenging times, the flower’s bright and long-lasting blooms serve as a symbol of hope and resilience.
Its symbolism is often incorporated into art, literature, and religious rituals, showcasing its enduring allure.

This historic site at Promontory Summit, Utah Territory, was the locale of one of the most important accomplishments of the 19th century.
On May 10, 1869, officials of the Central Pacific Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad met here to drive four symbolic spikes (two gold), celebrating the completion of the first transcontinental railroad.
The Last Spike Ceremony is reenacted every year on the May 10th anniversary.
