Sea Turtle just off the beach at Tintamarre Island, St Martin. This was one of two that were just chillin' on the bottom right next to the boat. Got a nice sequence of pictures when one of them went up for air.

I find them amazing. Gentle giants.

This aircraft was on the ground for days during our visit - apparently it was a private charter. Unfortunately we left before it took off.

Taken in all that was left of one of the units we stayed in at Club Orient, St Martin We might well have drunk out of this very glass. My old chum Bob held it up and I shot this for old times sake.
The devastation is all there to see as disputes over insurance have finally ended any hopes of a rebuild in the near future.
Hurricane Irma took away lives and jobs.
Today, I have reached my 1000th pictures on Flickr!
For the occasion , I will not posting a photo , but a small video of one of the most beautiful and impressive place for spotting , Sint-Maarten !
This will certainly remind memories for those who have been there and will probably want the others to go!

Being this close to a jumbo jet, the visual of him getting closer and closer, the sound then the wake turbulence is just unreal. It is quite a rush!

With a healthy load and heading for Rhossili, the most westerly village on the Gower Peninsula, New Adventure Travel (N.A.T.) OU14 SXM is seen crossing the moorland between Cilibion and Reynoldston, a piece of road only covered three times daily by route 118. In the far distance on the other side of the Loughor estuary can be seen Llanelli. Friday 12th September 2014. DSCN31148.
