For a short period during November 2023, SWR's West of England line was closed between Salisbury and Yeovil Junction for major engineering work. During that time, services between Salisbury and Exeter St David's were diverted via Castle Cary and Westbury.

A pair of Class 159s are seen passing Fairwood Junction, heading towards Westbury, with an Exeter St David's to London Waterloo service on 19th November 2023.

Aviation Day Proclamation, WV School for the Deaf and Blind and the Patriot Flag.

The Patriot Flag is a special flag that made an appearance in West Virginia today, February 21, 2018.

West Virginia is the 20th State Capitol that the flag has visited since the journey started in September 2016, the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

The flag is on a journey across America to honor the first responders and those who lost their lives in the tragedy on September 11, 2001.

Charleston Fire Fighters were on hand Wednesday to help display the flag.

The next stop for the flag will be Frankfort, Kentucky.

Gone for a bit of a red theme this upload, let's kick this off with a bit of 455 action...

Spotted at Clapham Junction on a service bound for Shepperton.

Back in South West Trains days, trains wore diffrerent liveries depending on what type of service was being operated. The liveries were as follows:

- Red for suburban, local trains in and around London. Worn by the Class 455 and 456 fleets.

- Blue for regional commuter trains, mainly those into and out of Portsmouth Harbour. Worn by the Class 450 and 458 fleets.

- White for intercity, long distance services. Worn by the Class 158/159 and 444 fleets.

Since 2017, the franchise has been operated by SWR and the descision was made to do away with the diffrerent liveries in favour of a unified brand. Since the Class 455/456 fleet was due to be replaced, none were repainted into the new livery,
