Governor Justice on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, officially kicked off the State United Way Campaign, known as the West Virginia State Employees Combined Campaign Fund. Flanked by six Executive Directors of the fourteen United Way agencies in our State, and Secretary Austin Caperton of the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, and Chairman of this year’s Campaign, the Governor said, “We are on the path to prosperity, but many of our citizens are still in need. By contributing to this Campaign, State employees will once again reinforce how much they care about the State of West Virginia and its citizens.” Also in attendance were the majority of the Cabinet Secretaries to show their support for this worthy cause.

Governor Justice Announces That Our Kids Are Going Back to the Classroom
Charleston, WV - Governor Justice stood rock solid on the 5 percent Teacher pay raise and delivered. Not only this, but he and his staff made additional cuts which gave all State employees 5 percent as well. All the focus should have always been on fairness and getting the kids back in school.
Because of the Governor's leadership our state is now growing at a 4.7 percent growth rate and can afford helping our people.
