Eastern long-necked turtle
It had its head just poking out of the water. With a tweak to the contrast, the photo came alive.

Bulrushes grow in wet locations, including ponds, marshes, and lakes. Their stems are often used to weave strong mats, baskets, and chair seats. Bulrushes may act as a filter, absorbing poisonous metals and toxic microorganisms, thus helping to reduce water pollution.
Got inspired for this after watching Swamp Thing, really great show and super pissed it got cancelled. Anyways I recommend you guys check it out!
Friday is Halloween! Are you ready? Just thought everyone would like to visit a little South Texas Bog to get in the mood for Friday night. Remember the old movie, Swamp Thing?
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens (464 acres) is a historic house with gardens located on the Ashley River at 3550 Ashley River Road, Charleston County, South Carolina. It is one of the oldest plantations in the South, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Magnolia Plantation is located near Charleston and directly across the Ashley River from North Charleston.
The plantation dates to 1676, when Thomas and Ann Drayton built a house and small formal garden on the site. (The plantation remains under the control of the Drayton family after 15 generations.) The historic Drayton Hall was built in 1738 by John Drayton, father of judge John Drayton, Jr., on an adjoining property. Magnolia was originally a rice plantation, with extensive earthworks of dams and dikes built in fields along the river for irrigating land for rice cultivation.

Redesign do clássico anti-herói Swamp Thing através da capa da edição #43, na qual ainda havia a mente brilhante de Alan Moore por trás. Talvez a ilustração mais trabalhosa (e demorada) que já fiz.

Just a little something for the dark holiday.
Constantine, Deadman, and Zatanna are nothing new. Really like how Frankenstein came out. Used my new Punisher hair. Not as proud of Swamp Thing, but it works well enough.
I sat down by the side of a slumbering swamp to rest my only remaining leg and to be. To be nearly transparent, a thousand years earlier a swampthing swiped and swallowed my other leg. Oh well – guano happens! Now (that is to say, a millisecond before you read “now”), I am flipping my middle toe (of the four still remaining, imagine that!) in every imaginable direction, as if to deny existence to Heaven and Hell as well as the kitchen sink.
A build/figure a long time in the making. Longer than I think I realize. I’ve been brainstorming on how to make a good looking Swamp Thing that didn’t make use of a big fig base as I wanted him to be more scaled down than the monstrous stature that is a big fig. I feel like this is a good middle from a normal figure and a big fig. The build, with how the legs are posed, stands only a head above a normal figure, giving the build a menacing look. I have plans to use this base for future characters which will be fun to figure out.
This shredded wheat cereal is not a favourite.I much prefer cornflakes. It's what michael likes most. This kind of wheaty meals is too boring for me and tastes like sandpaper.

My favorite comic book character.
If you dig this, go like the Facebook page.
Plus Swampthing because why not? Hands down my favorite 80s line.
At some point I'll start taking real pictures again. I think.
About time this go uploaded, I made it about a year ago now, so I think it's time enough : )
The only big fig I ever made and quite a pain in the ass, but enjoyable none the less!
A spurned bounty hunter with a shadowy past, the faithful Avatar of the Green, and the living embodiment of God's wrath itself. A motley trio, indeed!

你好! As I said in my last update, I am still not returning to any schedule of regular or irregular posting in the foreseeable future. And because I don't have the time to respond to every one of your comments on my goodbye post, I decided to shoot and post these pre-existing figs as another way of thanking you all for your support and goodwill wishes for my future.
Another reason I'm breaking my radio silence - there simply aren't many purist figures out there that do these characters justice! Swamp Thing figs tend to be pretty out-there in terms of accuracy, and I couldn't even find an ATTEMPT at Eclipso on all of Flickr. And as far as I know, this is the first purist Raptor ever made.
If you're unfamiliar with Raptor, he's a recurring Nightwing frenemy introduced in DC Rebirth who once fell in love with Mary (soon to be) Grayson and forever blames himself for letting her die at the hands of Gotham's criminal underworld. To make sure his purist rendition was as accurate as possible (at least in the final photo), I tweaked the color hue of Tarantula's mask to make it more orange and de-emphasized her feminine lips with a softening brush. On my shelf, he's sporting a Jurassic World Simon Masrani head. Check out the first story arc of Nightwing: Rebirth to see this badass assassin in action!
Will there be another post like this in the future? Possibly, but not until the time is right and ample. Until then, have a wonderful and blessed day! 再见!
