Today we have one of my older swag items, a plush armadillo wearing a cowboy hat with a hat band that says "Dallas" on it. Since there's a lot of activity going on in Houston as the planning proceeds for one of Microsoft's biggest events, WPC, I thought swag with a Texas connection was appropriate...My first TechEd was in 2003 in Dallas. On Wednesday night, there were two evening events, one for IT Pros and one for developers. The IT Pro party was at the Circle R Ranch, and I think we definitely had the better event of the two. We had armadillo races, for example, and I think we can all agree that's a winner in anyone's book...I'm pretty sure this armadillo came from the Circle R Ranch event, but he definitely didn't run in any races.
