Michigan Avenue is weird. People fly in for this stretch of road. It's a mall, right? Anyway, this guy was interesting, at least.

To find and be found at meetups. (not a problem at an auto junkyard, but at an event like a Renaissance festival, where everyone has a camera, it'll help.)

We all got gas masks but I wear mine with the most swag.(:

What I like most about this is the solid center swag and jabots.

Time to get busy, washing and sewing. Vera tablecloth has been laundered, and is now in its Retro Clean soak. Jade paisley cotton sateen blouse has been hand washed, as has the little yellow dotted Swiss girl's dress, and the Diane Freis two piece outfit (fixed the waist tie, which had been pulled out. I can't believe it was still with the outfit, as it was loose.)

Much cheaper than a wreath, I picked up this christmas swag (as they are called) at the Durham Farmer's Market last weekend. You can't see at this distance but it contains holly berries, pinecones, fir leaves, etc. Gives a while new meaning to the word "swag"...I'm not sure what the origin is.

No temas, pisa fuerte y haz que el mundo tiemble ante ti.''
