Tiling again gives away the former name of this rebranded pub on Wandsworth Common. (View of building.)

A really lovely building for this Young's pub, a friendly enough local's boozer.

Rogue Opera's Don Giovanni “Set during Fashion Week in present day Milan, Rogue Opera’s Don Giovanni follows the famous lothario - head of the brand ‘Don G’ - as he uses his power, status and wealth to charm, seduce and deceive. His assistant, Leporello, reluctantly aids his boss’s debauchery, while being increasingly drawn into this world of celebrity. Donna Anna seeks justice... Donna Elvira hopes for reform... but will Don Giovanni truly be punished for his crimes?

In Mozart and Da Ponte’s original 18th century setting, Don Giovanni’s privilege, wealth and status enable much of his behaviour. Presenting the story against a modern backdrop of fame, popularity and hashtags, Rogue Opera brings the intricacy and power of Mozart’s music to life in an engaging and intimate production. The production examines the themes of power, attraction and seduction and explores what morality, judgement and retribution look like in today’s world.

With a cast of 8 professional singers and piano; Music Direction by Guy Murgatroyd; Choreography and Direction by Michelle Buckley and Bronwen Stephens-Harding.”

With the water dangerously close to the top of his wellington boots, young 'H' prods the lake bottom looking for more frogs. He probably took some of the lake home inside his boots, it was not unusual.

Ram Brewery Site Manager/Brewer John Hatch shows the CAMRAswl party around the brewery.

Ram Street, Wandsworth, London SW18.

Allegedly, there has been brewing going on on this site continuously since the 16th century. Youngs were here from 1831, but departed Wandsworth for the fresh fields of Bedford in September 2006.

Minerva plc obtained planning consent to redevelop the site in July 2013, including a 36 storey residential tower, shops and cafés and restaurants. They have also retained a former member of Youngs staff to run a microbrewery to maintain the 'continuous brewing' claim.

Depicted on this sign in Wandsworth (where the brewery for Young's has historically been based) is the ram which is the symbol for Young's. However, more to the point, they haven't been around the bend since 2006, when they moved to Bedfordshire. Well, the building is still there, at least.
