The Duke of Gloucester will be appearing at the SVR gala on 6th, 7th and 8th March 2009. A few of the 71000 volunteeers visited Bewdley to have a look at where the engine will be based.

A day out at the Severn Valley Railway 1940's re-enactment day. The last of 2 weekends in June and July for 2012. Great day up and down the main line with some right characters to boot.

Snow fell on the 5th Jan 2010, so I headed up to the rail yard at Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway to take a handful of photos.

75069 at Bewdley Station with a Kidderminster Town - Bridgnorth service.

The Western Locomotive Association's Class 52 No. D1062 'Western Courier' heads a short rake of mark 1 coaches, perhaps reminiscent of a Cornish local service, down Eardington Bank on 3rd June 2015. This is the 1525 Bridgnorth to Kidderminster service, which when the SVR's 'Table A' timetable is operable is booked for diesel-haulage. Copyright John Whitehouse - all rights reserved

Battle of Britain Class 'Sir Keith Park' and West Country Class 'Taw Valley' simmer at Bridge North depot.

Only namaged to get an hour or so on the Friaday evening at the Severn valley Diesel Gala

"Cheltenham" at Hampton Loade with a Kidderminster Town - Bridgnorth train.
