Sunrise from Sharpitor on Dartmoor on Friday morning. This was a quick decision shot after visiting Burrator. I quickly parked in the first car park I came to then ran up Sharpitor to get a decent composition, almost giving myself an asthma attack and trying not to break my ankle on the thousands of rocks that litter the base of the Tor. I'm glad I made the effort though, it was a pretty decent sunrise :)

Sunday turned out to be mostly cloudy but for a few glorious minutes at sunrise the color was beautiful. Timing was perfect to catch the Philip R. Clarke backing away from the C. Reiss dock in West Duluth after spending the night unloading limestone.
